Spoon Community Guidelines

Welcome to Spoon, a vibrant audio live-streaming community where users can connect, share, and engage in real-time conversations. To ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all, we've established the following community guidelines. Please read and abide by these rules to contribute to a supportive and enjoyable environment.

  1. 1. Respect Each Other:

    1. Treat all users with kindness and respect, regardless of their background, beliefs, or opinions.
    2. Avoid personal attacks, bullying, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
  2. 2. Content Guidelines:

    1. Ensure that your audio content is appropriate for all audiences.
    2. Do not share or promote any explicit sexual content, pornography, profanity, violence, or Harmful to minors.
    3. Do not try any violent behavior, which includes acts of self-harm or abuse(assaults, attempts, suicide, etc.), and any addictive behavior, which includes gambling and promoting the use of alcohol or illegal/recreational drugs.
    4. Do not impose threats or engage in threatening behavior against users.
    5. Dating solicitations are not allowed.
    6. Respect copyright laws and only broadcast content that you have the right to share.
  3. 3. Privacy and Safety:

    1. Protect your personal information and respect the privacy of others.
    2. Do not share sensitive information, such as addresses, phone numbers, or financial details.
    3. Do not share your financial information, such as Venmo or Paypal email address, and ask users to send cash out of Spoon.
    4. Users are not allowed to harm the spoon community by exploiting software bugs in the app.
    5. Report any behavior that may compromise the safety of the community.
  4. 4. No Spam or Self-Promotion:

    1. Avoid excessive self-promotion or spamming of content.
    2. Promote your content in a reasonable and respectful manner.
  5. 5. No commercial ads or political fundraising:

    1. Do not advertise other apps or any commercial advertising.
    2. Avoid any external fundraising without official approval from the Spoon team. If you need support for a charity livestream, please contact us through Spoon Support.
  6. 6. Community Integrity:

    1. Do not engage in any activities that could compromise the integrity of the Spoon platform.
    2. Report any suspicious behavior or activities that may violate our guidelines.
  7. 7. Moderation and Enforcement:

    1. Follow the instructions of Spoon moderators and administrators.
    2. Understand that enforcement actions, including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans, may be taken in response to violations.
    3. If you would like to report to the ban appeal, please contact us through Spoon Support.
  8. 8. Constructive Feedback:

    1. Provide feedback in a constructive and respectful manner.
    2. Report issues or concerns through Spoon Support rather than engaging in public disputes.
  9. 9. Age Restrictions:

    1. Users must comply with age restrictions and ensure they meet the minimum 13-year-old age requirement for using Spoon.
    2. Setting the date of birth with random recent years can cause the termination of your Spoon account. In this case, please reach out to Spoon Support.
  10. 10. Compliance with Laws:

    1. Users are expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using Spoon.
  11. 11. Continuous Improvement:

    1. Help us maintain a positive community by contributing to its improvement. Provide suggestions and ideas to enhance the user experience.
  12. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in actions ranging from warnings to permanent suspension of your account.

    You can also help us maintain a strong Spoon community by using the report function in our app and web. If you encounter inappropriate content or users violating our guidelines, please report them.

    2. Tap 'Report.'
    3. Select the Report category.
    Reporting a CAST/Profile in-app:
    1. Tap on the three dots on the upper right.
    2. Tap 'Report.'
    3. Select the Report category.
    Reporting a LIVE/CAST/Profile on the web:
    1. Tap on the three dots on the upper right.
    2. Tap 'Report.'
    3. Select the Report category.
